Gujranwala is 265 kilometres from Islamabad on the GT Road and the M-2 corridor. It is a half-day run, and the loads here are different from most cities we serve — a good share of what we move is factory stock and machinery rather than household furniture.
Industrial loads, not just houses
Gujranwala runs on manufacturing, and the consignments reflect it: fan parts, machinery, ceramics, stock going out to dealers. That needs skidding, strapping and weight distribution rather than bubble wrap. A load of machinery stacked like household furniture will shift on the first bend.
The GT Road factor
Much of the industrial area sits on or near the GT Road, which is busy with freight at all hours. Loading and delivery windows matter here more than in a residential city — we agree the slot in advance rather than arriving and waiting.
Household moves through the city
For families, Satellite Town, Model Town and the DC Colony side are easy access. The older inner city is narrow and needs a smaller vehicle for the final stretch, which we plan from a photograph of the street beforehand.
